| This was my first imaging season of Saturn. The opposition of Saturn was on 13th of January when the planet was 1208 million km from Earth. |
Saturn 2006 |
| In 2006 Saturn reached good imaging altitudes of about 50 degrees. The opposition of Saturn was on 27th of January when the planet was 1216 million km from Earth. |
Saturn 2007 |
| Saturn was in opposition on 10th of February, 1227 million km from Earth. The ring angle was getting smaller, but still showing the Cassini division clearly. |
Saturn 2008 |
| Saturn was in opposition on 24th of February, 1240 million km from Earth. |
Saturn 2009 |
| Saturn was in opposition on 8th of March, 1256 million km from Earth. The rings were starting to disappear. |
Saturn 2010 |
| Saturn was in opposition on 22nd of March, 1272 million km from Earth. The rings were very thin. |
Saturn 2011 |
| This was the year of the great storm on Saturn. Unfortunately conditions were very poor at my site. The opposition was on April 4th when Saturn was 1288 million km from Earth. |
